Marco Island Seafood and Music Festival

Marco Island Seafood and Music Festival

What began just seven years ago has grown in popularity and become an annual signature event for Marco Island. “Little did we know when we started this festival it would continue to grow each year to be such a popular event. So far, it has subsidized the major part of charitable giving for three service clubs on the island; the same three that volunteer hundreds of hours to put the festival together, the Sunrise Rotary Club, the Noontime Rotary Club and the Kiwanis Club. Each year we’ve grown and tried to make it better. This year, we’re going all out and taking it to the next level,” said Stan Niemcyzk, the festival founder.

The 2015 Marco Island Seafood and Music Festival has an all new schedule! It will begin on Friday this year, at 11:00 AM, March 20th. The internationally acclaimed, “Journey/BonJovi Tribute” will perform opening night!  Paul Allodi Band will start the day off at 12 noon with a number of Rock and Roll bands taking you through a journey of 60-70 and 80’s muisc.

To mix it up some, on Saturday, March 21th, a full musical line-up is scheduled for your entertainment; the headliner is none other than the Trezz Hombres – A Tribute to ZZ Top!         The day starts at 12:00 noon with Joe Marino and All the Kings Men (Million Dollar Quartet Tribute) followed by Southwest Florida’s very own Deb & the Dynamics!

Get your best Sunday Cowboy Boots and Hat’s on when Facahatchee Band takes center stage at 12:00 noon. Then join us at 2:00pm for the legendary Greg Miller Band as they take the stage for an afternoon of your favorite Classic Soul, Motown and R&B hits from the 50′s, 60′s, 70′s 80′s. No better way to spend a lazy spring afternoon Sunday then listening to great music.

In addition to a weekend of great music, all your favorite seafood specialties will be available fresh fish, grouper, crab cakes, stone crab, shrimp, crawdads, chowder and more. There is a huge assortment of traditional landlubber favorites, too. Beer and wine will be available to quench your thirst. Over 60 arts and crafts vendors will open Friday morning at 11:00 AM. A kid’s zone with bounce house, slide, rock climbing wall, trampoline and more to wear off some of that energy while you enjoy the music, the food and the friends.

Through the support of festival sponsors, the Marco Island Seafood and Music Festival is able to contribute to the three philanthropic organizations on the island. In 2014, Waste Management, Physicians Regional, Seminole Casino, Mutual of Omaha Bank, Condee Cooling and Electric were major sponsors.

Join us for a weekend of great food and music… Admission $8.00.

We would like to thank our 2015 sponsors: Seminole Casino, Mutual of Omaha Bank, Condee Cooling, Fresh from the Florida Gulf, Winn Dixie, Physicians Regional Healthcare System, WM Waste Management
